Candles are a meditative object we use in every day life to bring light and warmth to our lives. They light the dark and soothe our souls. Using sacred geometry, a re-constructed body on the maligned Medusa on a clear acrylic diamond lit from below, I wrapped her in the reflective walls of 2 way acrylic mirror creating an infinity room inside. We can see our reflections of ourselves outside the cube, literal projections outside of the box and 12 candles, ritual symbols of how we can reflect and know we are infinite beings, one with the Universe and each other. Melancholy and insightful, the music is from “Queen of the Damned. Cube size 12x12x12” sitting on top of 12x12x12” black projection box and 36” tall pedestal. 2022.
