Béara is a revered figure in Irish mythology and folklore. Associated with the Beara Peninsula in County Cork, Ireland, numerous landmarks and ancient sites are said to be connected to her. She is often depicted as a powerful and benevolent deity ruling over land, sea, and harvest and a guardian of the natural world. Her presence is believed to bring prosperity and abundance to the land. Beara is also associated with healing and transformation, with legends attributing miraculous cures and mystical abilities to her. She is considered a symbol of the enduring strength of the land and its connection to the divine.
