As the sun begins to set, the sky becomes a canvas for scattered clouds, painted in hues of pink and purple, as if mirroring the vibrant red rocks below. Sedona is a place filled with a lot of red rock, but this scene was truly awe inspiring. In the vibrant desert landscapes of Sedona I turned the opposite way from Bell and Cathedral Rock to photograph the iconic Twin Nuns Red Rock formation. It stands tall, its steep cliffs adorned with hues of orangey red. The combination of the warm earth tones and the delicate pastels creates a captivating harmony, evoking a sense of awe and wonder.
