Perched high atop Monkey Rock in Incline Village, the sunset over Lake Tahoe unfolds in a breathtaking display of color and light with a sun flare. From this vantage point, the silhouette of the surrounding mountain range is beautifully accentuated against the vibrant sky, making for a truly magnificent spectacle. I hiked up here almost two months after my broken leg was on mend, and although a short hike from the parking lot, it was a marvelous view and testament to my connection to the Universe.
