In Navajo mythology, the Goddess White Shell Woman, also known as Yoolgai Asdzáá, is revered as a deity of creation, purity, and abundance. She is associated with the East direction, representing the beginning of the day and the renewal of life. White Shell Woman is also linked to the white shell, which is believed to possess spiritual properties and is often used in ceremonial practices. Her mythology speaks of her as a benevolent goddess, bringing light, life, and prosperity to the Navajo people. White Shell Woman is regarded as an essential figure in Navajo cosmology and a source of inspiration for generations.
