The Goddess Cailleach, originating from Celtic mythology, holds a prominent place in the folklore of Scotland, Ireland, and other Celtic regions. Often associated with winter, Cailleach is believed to have control over the seasons, bringing both nurturing and destructive powers to the land. As a deity of the natural world, she is revered as an embodiment of wisdom, transformation, and the cyclical nature of life. Cailleach’s presence and influence emphasize the balance between darkness and light, reminding us of the ever-changing and powerful forces of nature.
