Two baby elephant seals are happily playing on the sandy California San Simeon beach, their joy palpable in the air. One of the adorable seals had its flipper draped affectionately over the other’s head, a gesture of friendship and camaraderie like “Oh Brother!” They roll around in the sand, their playful antics infectious. Their carefree playtime and gentle gestures showcased a bond that ran deep, a beautiful display of friendship and trust in the natural world.
