Goddess Mug
The artwork inside the letters is an original hand-crafted analog collage created by me from my photography. I'm a visual artist in addition to music.
Eileithyia, the ancient Greek goddess of childbirth, was believed to guide and protect women during labor. She was a powerful yet quiet presence in mythology. As the daughter of Zeus and Hera, Eileithyia could either ease or hinder birth, reflecting the unpredictable nature of delivery itself. Her worship was especially strong in Crete and Delos, where images and dedications honored her role in the miracle of life. The layered textures and symbolic imagery mirror the sacred and transformative act of bringing life into the world, honoring Eileithyia’s ancient yet timeless role. Dedicated to mothers and everyone who creates new ways of being in the world.
