The colorful rock formations in Capitol Reef National Park form a mesmerizing tapestry of geological history and natural beauty. From the towering cliffs of red sandstone to the swirling patterns of white and gold Navajo sandstone, the park is a vibrant canvas that showcases millions of years of Earth’s sculpting forces. This formation was so stunning it reminded me of a Queen and her crown, ruling the park as I could not stop taking picture of her!
