The Artist
I don't just sing. I channel.
Give me a stage, a mic, and a pulse, and I'll turn it into a moment beyond space and time. Adventurous, versatile, and just detail-obsessed — I oscillate between musical styles from the emotion that verberates throughout my soul.
The talent showed up early — like, "five-years-old-and-already-stealing-the-show" early. By Jr. High, it was official: I tested off the charts in musical ability and aptitude - and was given the option to quit swimming (another story!) and pursue music full time, but regretfully did not take that chance. I spent my school years harmonizing my way through choral groups, then leveled up at the University of Miami's acclaimed School of Music, where I dove deep into vocals and jazz.
Then I headed west to be closer to family, and trained with some serious vocal royalty: Lis Lewis of L.A.'s Singers Workshop (the coach behind Rihanna, Britney Spears, Colbie Caillat, and Courtney Love), the wildly gifted Pilar, and the Bay Area's own Raz Kennedy, widely hailed as the premier vocal coach in the region.
These days? I'm holed up in my studio, writing and releasing music like I'm making up for lost decades — because I am. And I'm climbing my way back to where I belong: center stage, mic in hand, doing the thing I was born to do, where my soul truly resides.
